Ask us a questionA basic passenger elevator from a Chinese factory may have an equipment-only FOB reference price of approximately US$6,000–26,000, depending on its load capacity, number of floors, speed, door configuration and cabin finishes. However, this does not include international shipping, customs clearance, import VAT, local installation, testing or commissioning. For a complete residential or mid-rise commercial elevator project, a broader preliminary budget of US$30,000–150,000 may be necessary. Czech buyers should request an itemized quotation specifying the Incoterm, equipment scope, installation responsibility and warranty coverage before comparing suppliers.
Before placing an order, request the EU Declaration of Conformity applicable to the actual elevator configuration, relevant conformity assessment documentation, safety component certificates, technical drawings, electrical diagrams, installation instructions and maintenance documentation. Check whether the proposed design meets the applicable requirements of the EU Lifts Directive 2014/33/EU and relevant harmonized standards, including EN 81-20 and EN 81-50 where applicable. Czech-language instructions, labels and required contact information must also be arranged. Do not accept a generic CE certificate as sufficient proof that a different elevator model or configuration is compliant.
Yes. Hosting supplies machine-room-less (MRL) and other passenger elevator solutions for residential buildings, offices, hotels and commercial projects. Its passenger elevator range includes configurations for approximately 4–13 passengers, with customizable load capacity, speed, cabin dimensions, door arrangements and interior finishes. Buyers should provide the number of floors, travel height, required load, shaft dimensions and intended application so Hosting can recommend a suitable configuration and prepare project-specific drawings and quotations.
The buyer should agree on installation and commissioning responsibilities before signing the purchase contract. A Chinese factory may manufacture the elevator and provide installation drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals and remote technical guidance, but this does not automatically mean that it provides a qualified installation team in the Czech Republic. Confirm who will handle local installation, electrical connections, testing, conformity assessment and final handover. Hosting can provide technical documentation and remote project support, while the buyer should arrange a competent local installation partner and clearly define each party's responsibilities.
Hosting indicates a typical manufacturing lead time of approximately 4–8 weeks after the elevator drawings have been approved and production is released. International shipping, customs clearance and local delivery require additional time, depending on the shipping route and logistics arrangements. Installation and commissioning must also be included in the project schedule. To reduce delays, Czech buyers should confirm shaft dimensions, electrical requirements, cabin specifications and door openings before approving production drawings, rather than making major changes after manufacturing has started.
Yes, provided the local maintenance company has the necessary technical competence, access to maintenance documentation and compatible replacement parts. Before importing, ask the Chinese manufacturer for the control system and door operator brands, electrical diagrams, fault-code lists, component specifications and maintenance instructions. It is also advisable to prepare a spare parts list covering commonly replaced items such as door sensors, buttons, relays and other electrical components. Hosting can provide technical information and coordinate spare parts supply, but buyers should confirm local maintenance arrangements before the elevator enters service.
Passenger rescue must be arranged through a clearly identified local emergency service or responsible elevator maintenance provider; remote support from a Chinese factory is not a substitute for on-site rescue. Before installation, confirm that the elevator has an appropriate emergency alarm and two-way communication arrangement, and that the local service provider knows how to respond to the equipment. For power failures, ask whether an Automatic Rescue Device (ARD) is included and verify its operation in the proposed configuration. The purchase contract should identify the local rescue contact, emergency response responsibility and maintenance provider.
Yes. Hosting offers hospital bed elevator solutions with rated load capacities of approximately 1,600–2,000 kg, speeds of 1.0–1.5 m/s and travel heights of up to 90 m, depending on the selected configuration. These elevators can be customized for stretcher transportation, hospital beds and medical equipment, with features such as smooth VVVF operation, full-height infrared door protection and an Automatic Rescue Device. Czech hospital buyers should provide stretcher dimensions, required cabin size, door width, floor count and traffic requirements so the company can prepare a suitable design for project review.
Send us your floors, load and shaft size. Hosting will recommend a configuration and send a quotation.
