Ask us a questionAs an initial budgeting reference, publicly listed prices for Chinese passenger elevators range from approximately US$6,000 to US$26,000 per unit for equipment only, depending on capacity, speed, floors, drive system, and configuration. This is not a confirmed quotation for a Lithuanian project. Sea freight, insurance, customs clearance, applicable taxes, local installation, conformity assessment, and commissioning must be calculated separately. For an accurate quotation, Lithuanian buyers should provide the number of floors, rated capacity, travel height, shaft dimensions, and required elevator type.
Hosting supplies passenger elevators, machine-room-less (MRL) elevators, home elevators, panoramic elevators, hospital elevators, freight elevators, car elevators, escalators, and moving walks. Passenger elevator configurations include capacities from 400 kg to 2,500 kg, while freight elevator solutions can reach 5,000 kg, depending on the model. These products can be configured for residential buildings, hotels, offices, hospitals, warehouses, and commercial projects. The final selection depends on the building layout, traffic requirements, and technical specifications.
Before placing an order, request the applicable EU Declaration of Conformity, conformity assessment documents, technical drawings, risk assessment, electrical schematics, installation instructions, and maintenance manuals for the specific elevator model. Elevators placed on the Lithuanian market must comply with the EU Lifts Directive 2014/33/EU and applicable Lithuanian requirements. A CE mark or a general certificate alone does not prove that every project configuration is compliant. Confirm the required assessment procedure and the responsibilities of the manufacturer, installer, and local conformity assessment body before shipment.
Yes. Hosting can customize elevator dimensions and configurations according to project requirements, including rated load, car size, door arrangement, speed, and machine-room layout. For an existing Lithuanian apartment building, provide the shaft's internal width and depth, pit depth, headroom, number of floors, floor-to-floor height, and existing entrance dimensions. These measurements help determine whether a standard MRL or machine-room elevator can fit or whether further structural modifications are required. Final suitability must be confirmed through technical drawings and a site assessment by the local project team.
Hosting lists a typical manufacturing lead time of approximately 4–8 weeks for its passenger elevator range after the technical configuration and drawings are confirmed. This period should not be treated as the total delivery time to Lithuania. Sea freight, customs clearance, document checks, and local installation and inspection require additional time. Buyers should request a project schedule that separately identifies drawing approval, production, factory inspection, shipment, arrival, installation, and commissioning dates before confirming the purchase order.
Hosting can provide factory-based technical assistance, product documentation, troubleshooting guidance, and spare parts support for its elevator systems. Lithuanian buyers should confirm the warranty period, response procedure, available technical contact, spare parts arrangements, and responsibility for on-site repairs before ordering. Because remote support from China is not the same as having a technician physically present in Lithuania, the buyer should also appoint a qualified local elevator installation or maintenance company. The quotation and contract should clearly distinguish factory support from local emergency response and maintenance services.
An MRL (machine-room-less) elevator can be suitable for some older residential buildings because it does not require a separate machine room, potentially reducing the space needed for the installation. However, it is not automatically suitable for every existing building. The available shaft width and depth, pit depth, overhead clearance, rated load, and access for maintenance must be checked first. Lithuanian buyers should send the existing shaft drawings or measured dimensions to Hosting for a preliminary technical review before choosing an MRL configuration.
The total project budget should include more than the factory equipment price. Buyers should calculate international freight, cargo insurance, customs clearance, applicable import duties and VAT, unloading, local transportation, installation labor, electrical and building work, conformity assessment where required, commissioning, and initial spare parts. For example, an elevator quoted at US$15,000 does not mean the completed project will cost US$15,000. Ask the supplier to provide an itemized quotation with the Incoterm clearly stated, such as FOB or CIF, and obtain separate estimates from the Lithuanian installation contractor for local work.
Send us your floors, load and shaft size. Hosting will recommend a configuration and send a quotation.
